CHIEFS AND WATER WORKS MEN UNITE FOR CANADIAN FIRE PROTECTION With Other Fire Prevention Agencies Form Important Organization for Curbing Fire WasteFour Associations Represented on Joint Committee AN organization which may mean much to the fire safety of Canada was effected recently at a conference held at the Prince George Hotel at Toronto, Out., at which fire chiefs, manufacturers and others were represented. After an extended discussion of ways and means for reducing the fire waste and the functions of the organizations already existing for this purpose a joint fire prevention committee was created of which W. H. Alderson, general manager of the Gutta Percha & Rubber Company, Ltd., Toronto, was appointed chairman.
