WATER WORKS NEWS NOTE—Special Water Proposals. etc., will be found on page 1432.—EDITOR. Cedar Rapids, Iowa, November Water Report—A report of Superintendent H. F. Blomquist, of the water department of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on the water consumption of that city for November shows a total of 113,402,376 gallons of water pumped during that month. Receipts of the department were $15,745.40 of which $12,995.40 was in water rentals. Milwaukee to Lay 54-Inch Pressure Main—The Milwaukee, Wis., common council committee on public utilities recently authorized, at the request of H. P. Bohmann, water department head, the laying of a 54-inch high pressure water main in the Burleigh Street section of the city. This line will cost about $300,000 and work will be started next spring and completed during the summer months.
