The Three Hose Lines’ Problem Again To the Editor: I have run up against a problem that I cannot work but I think you published it in FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING a while back. The question is this: we have three fire plugs and also have three houses on fire at once; the idea is to run a line of hose from each plug into each house without crossing a line of hose or running through a house.
