Monroe, Mich., Approves Water Works Bonds — At a special election held in December, last, the village of Monroe, Mich., decided to issue bonds for $35,000 for the construction of a water works system. Yonkers Increases N. Y. Catskill Supply—The quantity of water drawn from the New York Catskill aqueduct to augment the Yonkers, N. V., supply for local use was increased in the middle of December from 4,000,000 to 5,000,000 gallons.
