But an even better plan has been adopted by Fillmore Tyson, a veteran in the service, an ex-president of the I. A. F. E., and a former chief of Louisville, Ky. Chief Tyson, who is now at the head of the Olds Motor Works fire protection service, in Lansing, Mich., has just built himself a residence that is up-to-the-minute in every respect, as regards fire protection and fire prevention. The chief says that he believes in practising what he preaches and in building his new home he decided to set an example of what a properly protected dwelling should include.
