A Serviceable Fire Alarm Box Card Keewatin Alarm Boxes An excellently arranged neat card illustrated herewith has been designed by the City of Keewatin, Minn., for the means of keeping the citizens posted of the location of fire alarm boxes according to their numbers, streets and well known places. These cards have been distributed throughout the city according to information from Chief T. B. Henley of the Keewatin Fire Department. One of these cards is placed in every home, schoolroom and business place. Where telephones are installed the citizen is asked to hang the card near the phone. When a box is pulled the number of the box is blown on an electric whistle of the fire alarm system of the city. Keewatin Fire Department is a volunteer organization.
