The New England Chiefs’ Convention The third convention of the New England Association of Fire Chiefs which convenes at Pittsfield, Mass., next week, brings to notice the remarkable growth that has characterized this organization. It has now, after only three years of existence, taken its place as one of the most powerful of chiefs’ organizations in the country. Probably one of the important reasons that have contributed to the success of the association’s conventions has been its policy of combining the exhibits and meetings under one roof. The exhibits of the association last year at Boston were second only in number and quality to those of the International Association of Fire Engineers, and word has been received that the exhibit space at Pittsfield this year is till sold out.
