National Fire Waste Council Hold Fall Meeting On September 22 at their headquarters in Washington, the National Fire Waste Council of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States held their fall meeting. In cooperation with the insurance department of the National Chamber, it is conducting the Inter-Chamber Fire Waste Contest in which more than four hundred cities are participating. At this meeting the following chairmen gave reports of the activities of their committees: Contest Entry Division, Richard E. Vernor, chairman; Information and Publications Division, Eugene Arms, chairman; Trade Association Committee, W. F. Shaw, chairman; Field Service Committee, Franklin H. Wentworth, chairman; Membership Committee, Dana Pierce, chairman; and Arson Committee, C. L. Topping, chairman. Bayonne, N. J., to Purchase Pumpers—An ordinance has been drafted in Bayonne, N.
