SAFETY GASOLINE TRUCK TANK TESTED New York Fire Officials and Underwriters Witness Successful Test—No Damage to Tank Discovered—Will Reduce Hazard in Transportation A FIRE test of the Siphon Discharge Safety Truck Tank, a product of the Columbian Tank Company of Kansas City, Mo., was held in Long Island City, New York, on Tuesday, September 1, for the enlightenment of New York fire officials, underwriters and others interested in the transportation of gasoline by the tank wagon method. The test was conducted under the direction of the Interurban Delivery, Inc., of No. 44 East 23rd street, New York, of which James A. Kenny, is secretary and general manager. Mr. Kenny is a brother of Honorary Deputy Fire Chiefs William F. and Edward J. Kenny. Their father was the late Battalion Chief Thomas A.
