Water Meter Plan for Erie Nearly Complete The plan drawn up to completely meter the services of Erie. Pa., is to be submitted to the city council very soon, it is said. It is understood that William J. Hagenah. water meter rate expert of Chicago, who is preparing a sketch of conditions in Erie and a scale of rates for the approval of the board of water commissioners and city council, has about completed his work and will have the report in pamphlet form for the council within a short time. Originally the board of water commissioners submitted their plans to install meters to city council after the J. N. Chester Engineers of Pittsburgh, had drawn plans and made an outline of rates.
