Boston Fire Department Demonstration Test A spectacular demonstration of rescue work and high pressure hose streams was given recently by the Boston Fire Department during the convention of the Massachusetts Department of the American Legion. The test was witnessed by the legionaries, emembers of the Boston Chamber of Commerce, underwriters, and city officialsincluding Fire Commissioner Theodore A. Glynn and Chief Daniel F. Sennott. Deputy Chief Henry J. Power was in general charge of the exhibition and the drill squad worked under direction of Capt. Daniel W. Baker, the department drill master. “Teddy” Glynn, Jr., the young son of the Fire Commissioner, pulled Box 1293, corner of Atlantic and Northern Avenues, at 4:26 P. M. on Sept. 12.
