Massachusetts Fire Chiefs Meet The first fall meeting of the Fire Chiefs’ Club of Massachusetts took place on Wednesday, October 21, following a well attended luncheon at the Parker House, Boston. President William F. Daley, chief of the Brockton fire department, presided at the meeting, assisted by Chief Patrick J. Hurley, of Holyoke, first vice-president; Chief Howard Upham, of Needham, second vice-president; and Ex-Chief A. Howard Fiske, of Framingham, secretary. The principal business to come before the meeting was the revision of the constitution and by-laws. A report and recommendations were received from the revision committee which was composed of the president, secretary, and board of directors, Chief A. L. Mead, of Quincy: Chief Selden R. Allen, of Brookline: Chief William C. Shepard, of Pittsfield; Chief Charles L. McCarthy, of Worcester; and Ex-Chief John E. Sullivan, of Plymouth.
