Illinois Firemen Meet in Kewanee The thirty-eighth annual convention of the Illinois Firemen’s Association met at the Armory, Kewanee, Ill., on January 12 to 14, the convention being opened by the president, Pearl Smith, of Madison, at 10:30 a. m. on Tuesday, January 12. Following the invocation by Rev. C. F. Fisher, pastor of the first Congregational Church, Mayor James H. Andrews, of Kewanee, welcomed the delegates. The response was delivered by President Smith, and was seconded by Past President A. W. Thode, of Galena; Past President M. J. Myers, Mt. Pulaski, and Past President K. W. Barkman, Decatur, in short addresses. At the Tuesday afternoon session papers were read and discussed, the subjects and authors being: “Dry Cleaning Plant Hazards;” by Charles J.
