That Roving Eye!

Issue 6 and Volume 79.

That Roving Eye! THE other day we noticed the following item in the daily newspaper: “Young man strolling on Michigan Avenue, Chicago, turns to stare backwards as Mae Murray, beautiful film star, passes and he is hit by taxicab, knocked into heap in a mud puddle and pulled from under the wheels of a bus by a policeman just in time to save his life.” We ourselves, have often been in similarly dangerous predicaments: and so let us point a moral for future guidance: Keep that roving eve focussed on sornething worth-while, ahead of you. Only in progress forward lies success: and we hope that FIRE ENGINEERING is helping its readers, little by little, to advance in their chosen work. What comments have you to make? Always glad to hear from you!
