Centennial of Hingham Fire Company The one hundredth anniversary of the organization of Torrent Engine Company No. 2, of Hingham, Mass., was observed recently with fitting ceremonies including a banquet at which many stirring incidents of the old volunteers were recalled by the speakers. The famous hand tub of the company has now been replaced by a modern gasoline pumping engine and a combination chemical and motor hose wagon has taken the place of the old hose reel of other days. The oldest veteran of the company is Andrew J. Clark, who is 88 years of age. The second oldest member is Edward French. Among those taking part in the celebration were Chief Albert T. Brown, of the Hingham Fire Department; Deputy Chief L. S. Leighton, Capt. Alexander R. Lincoln, and Lieut. Robert F.
