New Jersey Fire Chiefs Hold Convention The annual meeting of the New Jersey Association of Fire Chiefs was held on the Steel Pier, Atlantic City, N. J., on September 24, 1926. At this meeting, thirty-three new members joined thereby bringing the total membership of the association up to 603. Reports of the various standing committees of the body were presented as follows: report on schools by Chief Harry Francis, New Brunswick; standardization by Charles Fischer and Mr. Cadman of the New Jersey Rating Bureau. T. Howell Johnson submitted a report on the membership. The following are the new officers of the association: Charles W. Greenfield, president; Charles Nickerson, vicepresident, Wildwood; George L. Mitchell, treasurer. East Orange; Fred A. Trowbridge, secretary, Morristown.
