Newark, N. J., Offers Fire Course A notice has been sent to all employers in the area of Newark, N. J., by the Newark Safety Council, urging the company to send members of plant brigades and those in a supervisory capacity to attend a course in fire prevention planned by the council. All of those who attend four out of the five sessions will be awarded a graduate certificate. The following is a list of the subjects that will be covered: What is the real cost of fire—who pays? Good housekeeping, proper construction, fire breeders and conflagration centers in industries and homes. Automatic sprinkler systems and how to care for them; the watch service—what, how and who.
