PLANS MADE FOR FIRE SCHOOL AT PACIFIC COAST MEETING Convention to Be Held in Sacramento in September—Course Will Not Interfere with Regular Session—Suggestions are Invited ABOUT four thousand firemen from Pacific coast states are expected to attend the fire protection course which will be a feature of the thirty-fifth annual convention of the Pacific Coast Association of Fire Chiefs to be held in Sacramento, Cal. The officers and directors of the association met in San Francisco to go over the details. Chief Mark Ryan of Redwood City, Cal., and president of the Pacific coast organization presided. Chief Thomas Murphy of San Francisco sent a rescue squad of the department to demonstrate breathing apparatus. The school will consider such important matters as dry cleaning and electrical hazards, theatres and film storage, basement and loft fires, oil and chemical fires, and matters of interest to volunteer fire department such as drills, equipment,…
