Minnesota Firemen Elect Chiet Dunn The sixtieth annual convention of the Minnesota State Firemen’s Association was held in Thief River Falls, June 13-16. About 650 persons were present. The convention was welcomed by Mayor Tungseth. D. A. Boulden, Chief of Winnipeg, Canada, gave an illustrated lecture. The new officers are Chief Owen C. Dunn, St. Paul, President; C. E. Mclllhargey, Hibbing, First Vice-President; Theodore F. Lee, Benson, Second Vice-President; Fred Pfacnder, New Ulm, Secretary; P. N. Pederson, Moorehead, Treasurer and Charles S. Dailey, Bemidji. Statistician. Benson and Rush City both placed bids for the 1933 convention, but it was awarded to Benson. Plans for a fire station to be erected in Grcensburg, Pa., are to be revised as bids received on the present specifications were too high.
