WHAT’S BURNING THE following list includes fires of $50,000 loss and over in the United States and Canada, for the month of September, 1933. These figures, compiled from the telegraphic reports are based on estimates made at the time, and are subject to later investigation and consequent revision. Taken as a whole, however, they are an approximately correct view of the losses incurred. The figures represent loss in thousands of dollars. A drill tower is being completed in Abilene, Tex. J. Ray Roe has been appointed Drillmaster and has arranged a set of thirty drills. Classroom instruction will include hydraulics, chemistry, salvage and first aid.
