September Fire Losses Lower Figures released by the National Board of Fire Underwriters show that the fire losses in the United States for September, 1933, as compared with September, 1932, show a decrease of $10,000,000 or a drop of 33.98 per cent. For the first nine months of 1933 the losses were $245,351,712 and for September $20,447,571.
