Three-Alarm Fire Three factory buildings were destroyed by a three-alarm fire at Dayton, Ohio, December 11. The blaze was discovered at 6:23 p.m. in the section of the factory housing power equipment. District Chief Yiker answered the first alarm and immediately ordered second and third alarms. The buildings demolished housed machinery for manufacturing heavy boilers. The cause of the fire is not known. The loss is estimated at $150,000.
