WHAT THE FIRE COLLEGE TEACHES THE MEMBERS OF A FIRE DEPARTMENT Wide Variety of Knowledge That Must Form Part of a Modern Fire Fighter’s Education, Imparted by the School THE Annual Fire College is a cooperative undertaking sponsored by the Colorado State Firemen’s Association and the Colorado Municipal League and participated in by a number of other organizations, including the Denver Fire Department, U. S. Bureau of Mines, National Board of Fire Underwriters, and the University of Colorado. The fireman of today must be specially trained for his job because of the vast amount of information and technical skill required to be a successful fireman. An efficient fireman needs training just the same as any other occupation or profession requires specialized knowledge.
