Chief John Evans Loses Son Chief John Evans of the New Orleans, La., Fire Department, lost his son on March 25 as the result of a heart attack believed brought on by acute indigestion. The son was thirtytwo years old and was Assistant Chief in charge of the Fire Prevention Bureau. He leaves a widow and three children ranging in age from five years to eighteen months.
