Knoxville Convention Sets 5-Year Record More chiefs in attendance this year than at any of four preceding meetings, as indicated by tabulation below: SHOWING a registration of chiefs 37 per cent over that of the Milwaukee convention and 150 per cent over that of the preceding Convention, held on board the “Seeandbee” on the Great Lakes, this year’s meeting of the International Association was the most successful, from all standpoints, of all during the past five years. The total registration at the meeting, including active members, associate members and guests, was nearly 1,000. Exhibits outnumbered those of last year’s meeting by nearly 20 per cent, and three large manufacturers of motor apparatus who had not exhibited for the past several years were again on deck with displays. All in all, this year’s meeting will go down on the records as being the most encouraging one since 1930. No little credit…
