Fire Marshal Proposed for Westchester County The appointment of a Fire Marshal for Westchester County, N. Y., was advocated by Wells Wise, Secretary, Westchester County Commission on Government, in an address before the regular meeting of the Fire Chiefs’ Emergency Plan. The meeting was held at the fire house of the Weaver Street Eire Department, Town of Mamaroneck, N. Y., on the evening of Wednesday, March 18. The meeting was opened by President Krows, who called upon Chief Richard LeVino to welcome the members. At the call of the Chair, the members stood in silence for one minute in memory of Ex-Chief Towle, “Father” of the Plan, and Ex-Chief John Rossner. both recently deceased. Judge Hoop, Bronxville, called the attention of the members to some recent bills introduced into the New York Legislature.
