Court Voids Nebraska Pension Law The court has held unconstitutional the fire department pension law of Nebraska. The law levied a tax of two per cent on gross fire premiums, less reinsurance paid authorized companies, on policies covering property within the corporate limits of cities and villages. The case decided was the case of the Continental Insurance Company vs. Director of Insurance. Fire Commissioner Earl Krows, Hastings-on-Hudson, N.
