Pump is situated on fire engine truck. My solution is as follows: Tank capacity 110 gallons. 100 pounds engine pressure. 200 feet 1 -inch chemical. 5/16-inch diameter tip. N.P. = . P. / (1.1 + K * L). K – .0095; L = 360.36. Note: Have changed 1-inch hose to 2 1/2-inch hose. N.P. = 150 / 1.1 + (.0095 * 360.36). N.P. = 150 / 1.52. N.P. = 33.2 pounds per square inch.
