Arson Squad Urged for Baltimore An arson squad for Baltimore city was urged by Chief Edward Warr of the Salvage Corps. The chief spoke at a meeting of the executive committee of the Maryland State Volunteer Firemen’s Association, held in Baltimore in July. He also urged passage of a law to create a state fire marshal. The association announced it would hold the 1938 convention in Baltimore, in conjunction with the Eastern Association of Fire Chiefs which will meet here. Chief B. H. Shipley of Ellicott City is President of the Maryland State group.
