Quigley Honored by New Haven “Plan”

Quigley Honored by New Haven “Plan” Seventy-five members and guests of the New Haven County Fire Chief’s Emergency Plan attended the monthly meeting of that organization which was held in the quarters of Engine Company No. 4 at Hamden, Conn., on September 21. The meeting was presided over by President John S. Pachl, of New Haven. After the business meeting was concluded President Pachl called on First Selectman William Balke and Fire Commissioners Thomas F. Miller, Albert Ruett, Fire Chief Charles P. Loller and Assistant Chief Raymond P. Spencer for remarks. During the evening motion pictures showing how the Boston Fire Department is maintained, the workings of the Fire Alarm Telegraph, Repair Shops, Drill School and numerous fire scenes were presented to the gathering.
