Westchester Chiefs Discuss Refrigeration Hazards The principal speaker at the regular monthly meeting of the Fire Chiefs Emergency Plan of Westchester County, which was held at the house of the Riverview Manor Hose Company, Hastings-on-Hudson, N. Y., on the evening of Wednesday, January 19, was Chief F. X. Murray, Teaneck, N. J., Fire Department. Chief Murray spoke on the suhect of “Refrigeration and Refrigerant Gases.’’ The Plan was welcomed by Fire Commissioner Earl Krows and later by Mayor Steinsnider, of Hastings. A letter was read from William Paul Babcock, Nyack, urging that the Plan endorse a bill to be introduced in the New York State Legislature regulating the sale and use of fireworks. The letter and accompanying copy of the proposed hill were referred to the Legislative Committee for action.
