Chief Rodgers Retires

Issue 12 and Volume 91.

Chief Rodgers Retires Oscar L. Rodgers, Battalion Chief, Columbus, Ohio, has retired after thirty years of service. He left the department on doctor’s orders, because of ill health. He has served as Battalion Chief for twelve years. Chief Rogers was organizer and direction of the Fire Department Band, which was later disbanded with a change in administration. He was tendered a testimonial banquet by his many friends in the service.
