Northern California Firemen Meet Chief J. D. Miller, Davis, Cal., was elected President of the Northern California Firemen’s Association. The other officers are George Hunt, Mt. Shasta, First Vice-President: Adolph G. Henrich, Ukia, Second Vice-President: Howard Herringer, Rio Vista, Third Vice-President; Bart W. Arundel, Placerville, Secretary-Treasurer. During the meeting there was a competition demonstration of extinguishing various types of fires with hand fire extinguishers. Five volunteer departments participated. This was followed by a discussion of methods brought out in the demonstration. New legislation measures were described. Sound pictures were shown of salvage work and home dry cleaning.
