Boston Campaign Brings Results Arthur Reilly, Fire Commissioner, Boston, Mass., reports results of the city’s campaign against false alarms. This year, on the night before the Fourth of July, there was but one false alarm and for July 3 and 4, only eight alarms were turned in. The city has placed sirens on its “bad” boxes and warning notices regarding a fine and prison for false alarm offenders on all the boxes. Mr. Reilly believes that these steps have been productive of results.
