Losses Reduced in Nashville During the eight years that Luther Luton has served as city Fire Commissioner of Nashville, Tenn., the fire losses have been reduced from $1,357,000 to $167,000 for the past year. He has sponsored the development of the firemen’s first aid corps, which has instructed more than 25,000 residents in first aid methods, and which has saved many lives.
