Amherst Department Has Trailer Pump Last summer, the Amherst, Mass., Fire Department finished building a trailer pump under the direction of Deputy Chief Leon Burrows. It was built using a four cylinder motor. Its rotary pump delivers 175 gpm at seventy-five lbs pressure.
