Canadian Fire Investigation School The Canadian Fire Investigation School held its first course at the “N” Division Barracks of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Rockcliffe, Ontario, October 25-29. The School is conducted by the Association of Canadian Fire Marshals in cooperation with the R.C.M.P., under the sponsorship of the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs. The School fills a need long evident in the Dominion by those charged with the work of fire and arson investigation. In the past the only sources of such organized training have been in the United States and these naturally dealt with American law and court procedures. The new School undertakes to meet the needs of Canadians in all its many phases. It is expected that the enterprise will he an annual event, alternating between the R.C.M.P.
