The “accordion fold,” sometimes described as the “accordion fold and carry,” is another popular method of folding that is preferred by many salvage author- ities and is readily adaptable for use by either one or two men. For two-man operations the “Underwriters” or “standard” fold is widely taught and used, especially by the independent salvage corps.
