The ceremonies took place in the lecture hall at the fire college with Ontario Fire Marshal W. J. Scott acting as chairman. Seated on the platform before approximately 350 invited guests were the dignitaries who officiated; The Hon. Leslie M. Frost, Premier of Ontario, the Hon. A.
