The Discussion Steve B. Logan, Dep. Chief, Lexington, Ky.: Regularly scheduled fire prevention inspections are made monthly by the principal and custodian of each private and parochial school. At each quarterly inspection, a member of our fire prevention bureau completes the report. We use the National Board inspection form for schools. City fire prevention ordinance and state laws give us the authority to inspect and enforce violations of the codes.
