Insecticide Fumes Fell 31 Fire Fighters TIMELY ARRIVAL of information for treating phosphate poisoning at three local hospital emergency rooms in Monroe County, N. Y., undoubtedly helped avert a major disaster on June 8. On that date about 9:30 p.m., the entire complement of Battalion No. 1 of the Monroe County-City of Rochester Mutual Aid System comprising units of Point Pleasant, Ridge-Culver, St. Paul, Sea Breeze, Laurelton, Union Hill, Webster and West Webster Fire Districts and two companies from the City of Rochester, were summoned to the Ridge Culver Fire District to fight a barn fire in the Town of Irondequoit at the Case Fruit Farm. Within minutes of their arrival at the fire, several firemen were overcome.
