The Discussions T. A. McGaughey, Chief, Wichita, Kans.: We do stress the use of respiratory protective equipment in our department and consider our inventory of masks adequate for our needs. Continuous company training with masks creates familiarity and confidence on the part of the men. Since we standardize on self-contained air masks, there is no chance of using the wrong type of mask.
