Hayward Publishes Home Fire Drill Giveaway The Hayward, Calif., Fire Department under Chief Matthew Jimenez recently published a Fire Exit Plan leaflet as a means of acquainting homeowners with simple steps to be used in evacuating a residence. Designed in cartoon form by artist Bill Ragain, it was sponsored by the Hayward Chamber of Commerce, Eden Township Insurance Agents Association, Hayward Area Safety Council and the fire department.
