Industrial Chiefs Organization Needed Present fire service associations appear to cover every phase of endeavor found in the field. On the regional level they exist in such profusion that many officials have complained there are too many organizations and duplication of effort is all too common. On the national level, however, there are only a few groups. Each has its own area of operations and all are reputable. One segment which lacks a consolidated group is industrial fire protection. While a number of state industrial fire chief or fire brigade organizations do exist, they do not cover every state in the nation. All national organizations number industrial chiefs among their memberships, yet there is no central industrial association to represent their interests as a group.
