July Fire Losses Estimated dollar losses caused by fires in the United States during July totaled $100,926,000, the National Board of Fire Underwriters reported. This $100,926,000 loss represents an increase of 6.5 per cent dollarwise over $94,792,000 for July 1962, and a decrease of 5.4 per cent under the $106,-685,000 for June of this year. Dollar losses for the first seven months of 1963 now total $875,933,000 an increase of 13 per cent from the first seven months of 1962, when they amounted to $775,200,000. These losses include an allowance for uninsured and unreported losses.
