OBITUARIES Everett Decker Everett L. (Red) Decker, 59, sales manager, Ward LaFrance Truck Corp., was killed June 17 when his car backed over him in the driveway of his home in Elmira Heights, N. Y. A former president and assistant chief of the Elmira Heights Fire Department, he served successively as service manager, regional sales manager and sales manager of Ward LaFrance for 12 years until 1958 when he joined American LaFrance. In 1960 he returned to Ward LaFrance. Former Chief Wilhelm Meinheit Wilhelm Meinheit, 71, chief of the Berkeley, Calif., Fire Department from 1941 to 1953, died on May 5. He joined the fire department in 1914. He was at one time president of the Pacific Coast Inter-Mountain Association of Fire Chiefs, a former board member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, a life member of the California State Firemen’s Association, a member of the California Rural Fire…
