July Fire Losses Estimated fire losses in the United States for the month of July totaled $130-517,000, the American Insurance Association reported. This represents an increase of 20.8 percent over $108,084,000 for July a year ago, and an increase of 9.2 percent over $119,538,000 in June, the preceding month. Estimated losses now total $883,380,000 in the first seven months of 1965, an increase of 6.2 percent over $832,196,000 in the first seven months of 1964, said J. Dewey Dorsett, president of the association.
