Hayes Joins NFPA Terry C. Hayes, former director of fire prevention of the City of Shreveport, La., joined the National Fire Protection Association as fire service specialist on September 6. He is the principal researcher on the Fire Information Field Investigation project being conducted by NFPA with financial support from the National Bureau of Standards. Hayes is currently chairman of the Fire Inspection Manual Validation Committee of the International Fire Service Training Association and serves on the Fire Prevention Committee of the International Association of Fire Chiefs.
