2 Occupants Lose Lives As Fire Destroyed Home Two persons lost their lives on the second floor of a wood frame home that was destroyed by a fire in Bradford, Pa. Two other persons jumped to safety from the second floor. Workers in a building two blocks away phoned the Bradford City Fire Department at 6:15 a.m. last November 24 when they saw flames rising from the home on Cliff Street. It is believed that the fire had been burning for more than 45 minutes because a Bradford man later said that he had seen a glow on Cliff Street when he was returning home from work at 5:30 a.m. The two-story home was totally involved in flames when the first apparatus reached the scene and at 6:20 a.m. Captain Richard Keenan called for a general alarm, which brought all off-duty fire fighters and Chief Theodore Shay to the scene.…
