Company News Franklin S. Atwater was appointed president of Textron’s Homelite division, Port Chester, N.Y. He will succeed Richard C. McDonald who will become chairman of the division until he retires next year. Oremco has acquired ownership and management of the Radio Alarm Manufacturing Division of Eagle-Picher Industries and will continue to manufacture radio fire alarm boxes, control panels and accessory products in its plant at 8515 S. La Cienaga Blvd., Inglewood, Calif. Oremco’s officers include Max Schulman, executive vice president and general manager; Warren Oliver, president and Ken Herman, vice president. Akron Brass Company announced the appointment of the following district managers: Charles Hanks, New England; Nick Renihan, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania; Harry Oden, Ohio, West Virginia and Tennessee and Edward Smith, western states.
